An Authority on Historic Properties
So many inspectors today hate historic properties, but Brent loves inspecting older homes of all shapes and sizes. With a background in historic property remodeling, he understands the differences between actual issues in the home and the quirks that simply add to an older property’s charm. Brent’s first home was over 100 years old, and he completely gutted and rebuilt it over a period of 10 years.
Working with Homes Since the Mid 90’s
A qualified home inspector should understand all aspects of the building industry. In the mid 90’s, Brent began his career as a remodeler with a focus on historic properties. Eventually, he moved on to become a commercial construction project manager – a position he held for 7 years. This job helped him further develop his eye for detail and provided him with valuable knowledge about how buildings operate. In 2008, after seeing how the recession was affecting the construction industry, Brent started his own home inspection business.
